Comment: Our house has a porch that wraps around the front and side. We would like to have bushes that form a hedge around the porch. Previously, there were about 4 or 5 other kinds of bushes that were very unruly and overgrown. We have cut down the old bushes, but need someone to remove the stumps and roots and then plant the new bushes. I like the look of boxwood for the new hedge, but I dona??t know which variety would work well. I'm open to suggestions. The area on the side of the house is about 30 feet long. The two areas on the front are about 18 feet and 8 feet. Our house faces north, so the new bushes would be on the east and north sides of the house. I think this project would include: removing the old stumps and roots, bringing in more dirt if needed, planting new bushes to form a hedge around the porch, and possibly installing landscape edging and black mulch around the new plants.

Landscaping to be installed: Special planting area/Garden

Areas to be Landscaped: Back yard

Comment: We took down an 18 FT round above ground pool last week. We are left with just the sand circle on one half of our backyard. The pool was surrounded by smaller stones, and gravel. The other half of the yard has a 20 yr. old Live Oak, some grass, and some stone. Round Up was used for at least 15 years to keep the weeds from growing through the stone, or pool lining so we figured we would have a very difficult time getting grass to grow. The house came with a cement slab/patio out the back door that we have table and chairs on, so we don't really need something similar. We have no idea how to tie this all together.
